WEST PALM BEACH, Florida (SOUTH FLORIDA WEEKEND) - The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County wants you to remember the Four Rs this summer - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rethink!
Reduce your waste this summer by making small changes like using reusable grocery bags instead of plastic bags. Before you buy something, check and make sure you don’t already own something that would work in its place.
Look at ways to reuse items before you throw them away or recycle them. Resource Depot is South Florida’s only creative reuse center and does a great job of providing items for reuse such as fabric, buttons, books, etc. Check it out here!
Recycle Right everyday! Make sure you use your yellow and blue recycling bins t home, school, work and play - so that we can recycle your items properly and efficiently.
Rethink might be the most important of the 4Rs. Rethink your waste at every step from when you buy something new to when you get ready to throw something out.
