Enjoy deals at Harbourside Place restaurants now thru Sept. 30 for Flavor Palm Beach

JUPITER, Florida (SOUTH FLORIDA WEEKEND) - It’s time for Flavor Palm Beach! During the month of September, you’ll find different restaurants all across Palm Beach County offering special menus with special pricing. It’s a great way to try different cuisines on a budget.

“The concept of the program is to get all the restaurants engaged and busy during September which is traditionally one of our slowest months for tourism and restaurants in general,” said Kerri Paizzi, CEO of Flavor Palm Beach. “We want to get the locals out eating and the restaurants that participate in our program put out a three course menu, typical three courses, we have some doing wine tastings and things like that this year that are brand new.”

There are 5 restaurants in Harbourside Place that are participating in Flavor Palm Beach, including Calaveras Cantina, Mana Greek Fusion, Tommy Bahama, The Woods Jupiter and The Wyndham Grand.

“I love Harbourside and all the groups of the areas that are doing it as a whole because it really creates a community feel,” she said. “You can bring the kids, go to the amphitheater, go shopping, make a day of it and get a great deal at dinner time and be able to plan out your whole September. I recommend trying all the restaurants pick like one a week and just make a thing of it.”

Here’s what you can expect to dine on at the Harbourside Place restaurants…

  • Enjoy a three course meal for just $35 at Calaveras Cantina with starters like tableside guacamole, chicken flautas. For your second course, dine on birria tacos, fajitas, or a wet burrito. And end the night with something sweet — either the Calaveras churros or the red velvet tres leche — made with coffee and chocolate liqueur, toasted meringue and gold flakes.Yes, gold flakes!
  • Step into The Woods Jupiter for a special three course menu Sunday through Thursday. You can dine on crisp salads, tomato basil gnocchi Sorrento, or goat cheese patty bites. Add on a seafood fly with ceviche, shrimp cocktail, tuna tartare. For your main course, choose from options like salmon, a new Zealand rack of lamb, or a prime filet mignon. Dessert will be hard to pass up — the mini smores casserole and key lime pie are calling your name.

Mana Greek Fusion is another hot spot for Flavor Palm Beach. If you haven’t tried it yet, now is the time!

“It’s a different experience,” said Lazaros Chasomeris, the Executive Chef. “I want them to feel good after they eat my food because, all of us will go out and eat food everyday. It’s good then two hours later, we have heartburn, the food was too heavy, it wasn’t good for a date night, so we try to make everything light but flavorful, that’s the idea of it.”

The $44 dinner menu is full of flavorful dishes like a greek salad, empanadas with house-made beef sauce, veggie paella, and the most popular item, the truffle Chilean sea bass.

For dessert — it’ll be a hard choice between the homemade baklava with greek honey or rice pudding made dairy free with almond milk.

“Not only do we have a variety of options, the flavor here is very very amazing,” said Matteo Correal, who works for Mana Greek Fusion. “And it’s just a welcoming environment, you’re not going to feel neglected, you’re not going to be rushed out of here, you’re going to be helped with any type of question that you have no matter how many times you want to ask them.”
