3 businesses you should check out this month at Delray Marketplace

Dos Amigos Tacos, Curated Home, and Paragon Theaters have something to offer everyone!

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida (SOUTH FLORIDA WEEKEND) - If you’re looking to treat yourself to a nice day out — head to Delray Marketplace! It’s the perfect spot to shop, dine, and relax in South Florida.

We recently stopped by Dos Amigos Tacos, a new fast casual restaurant in the Marketplace.

“The crispy grouper taco has been one of the top sellers on the handcrafted ones, the Baja shrimp for sure,” said Michael Jameson, one of the owners. “The carne asada is right up there with number one selling taco.”

Despite the name — Dos Amigos Tacos offers more than just tacos.

“We have burritos burrito bowls, quesadillas, salads, appetizers, desserts, it’s a full menu, it’s not just a taco stand,” said Derek Mazer, co-owner of Dos Amigos Tacos.

The restaurant prides itself on being family friendly. You’ll notice the menu has quesadillas for kids and margaritas for mom. Plus, tons of options for those with food allergies and special dietary restrictions.

Just across the street from Dos Amigos Tacos is Curated Home, a store that is so successful in New Jersey that they decided to open up a location here for their customers who fly south for the winter.

“We carry a variety of home and gift products, we want to make sure there is something for you when you come in the door, or a special someone when you need to buy a gift,” said Karyl Asch.

Curated Home has only been open since December 2021 and they’ve already had to restock many products such as their outdoor entertaining product line.

Everything inside the the store is for sale — furniture, lighting, decor. If you see it, you can take it home.

“We try to be a very happy environment, that’s my goal,” said Asch. “Come in, enjoy, take a little time out of your day to find something that makes you happy. I think it’s customer service, I believe truly in the customer, and just enjoying the experience.”

Speaking of experiences….Paragon Theaters strives to give its customers the ultimate one. The destination is your one stop shop for entertainment at Delray Marketplace.

“What we try to do is bring a bunch of amenities to our guests,” said Michael Walen, Co-CEO of Paragon Theaters. “So you can come here and see a movie in IMAX, the IMAX is the largest screen formatted IMAX in Palm Beach County. It’s complete with immersive sound and all those things, a sixty-six foot screen. And right next to it is an Extreme Theater with Dolby Atmos sound.”

If you’re ready to see movies back out on the big screen, you can now do it in style. Check out the new “Lux-Box” option for a dine-in movie experience.

“You have a retractable table,” said Michael Wilson, Co-CEO of Paragon Theaters. “The heated recliner, a QR code to make the ordering very easy and seamless for our guests.”

If you’re waiting for the show to start, serve up a few strikes at Penny Lanes, the 16 lane bowling alley on site at Paragon Theaters. There’s also an arcade, a large dining area, and The Agency Kitchen & Bar.

“I would tell you that this is the finest entertainment experience you’re gonna get in Broward and Palm Beach County,” said Walen. “If you want to see a movie, see it on the best screen, with the best sound, with the greatest amenities, we have that right here in Delray.”
