School is out for the summer and it is hot, hot, hot!
Chill out at the Palm Beach Zoo! There are so many fun things for the kids to do and so many new animals to see.
“There’s a lot of great opportunities for younger children here at the Zoo,” said Christine DeMichael, Director of Marketing & Communications for the Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society. “We’ve got our nature play area where you can be outdoors and play on different spaces, as well as our splash pad and of course, see all these amazing animals who are very active during the summer.”
If you haven’t visited the Palm Beach Zoo lately, put it on your summer bucket list! You can see animals like Sydney the koala, tiger cubs, black bears, Raya the siamang (and her two babies, King Louis and Lulu), and more.
“You can finish the day or start the day at our splash pad and really cool off during the hot summer days, which is a great break for mom or dad to have a drink, sit down, and watch the kids play in the fountain,” said DeMichael.
Don’t forget to pack swimsuits and towels! There is a changing hut for you to use at the Zoo, and everything you need to have a fun day in the sun.
“There’s music there’s fun, there’s food, there’s drinks,” she said. “Just come have a great day at the zoo and stay cool.”
Palm Beach Zoo requests as of June 17, 2021 that anyone who is not fully vaccinated, to please wear a mask where they can’t social distance. Anyone who is fully vaccinated for COVID-19 does not have to wear a mask at the Zoo.
