For the first time in its 109-year history, the South Florida Fair is being held in May!
“We were determined that we were going to do this and we are so glad we did,” said Vicki Chouris, President & CEO of the South Florida Fair. “We did the Mini Fair in January and then we tied it into doing this Fair in May, our community needs it and it’s evident by the people that are coming to visit us.”
The South Florida Fair is back in action with all your favorite rides, games, and snacks. The giant ferris wheel is on display, along with the ice skating show, live entertainment on an outdoor stage, and more.
Your kids will love checking out the Cool Zoo Animal Encounters! You can feed a tortoise, take photos with exotic birds, learn about butterflies, and more. The exhibit ties in perfectly with the Fair’s theme — ‘An Earthly Affair.’
This year, there’s an augmented reality display provided by National Geographic. Kids can stand in front of the display and see themselves interact with all kinds of animals!
And don’t forget to visit the revamped Fresh Market. You’ll love shopping from vendors with locally sourced veggies, goods, and products.
If you’re looking for an adventure the whole family will enjoy — the South Florida Fair is the place to be.
“Just because we all need some laughs,” said Chouris. “We all need to have some fun and let our hair down and spend some family time, it feels good.”
The South Florida Fair runs through May 23, 2021. Admission is free for children 10 and younger, advance tickets are $10 for 11 years and older and may be used any day, tickets at the gate are $10 for Monday-Friday, and $20 on Saturday and Sunday.
