Where you can drop off supplies for Bahamas relief efforts

In the wake of Hurricane Dorian, multiple businesses and organizations are coming together to collect supplies and donations to assist the Bahamas and its people following the catastrophic storm.

Here’s a list of a few places you can drop off needed items — if you hear or see something that we don’t have, send us an email at info@southfloridaweekend.com!

Local Jupiter Businesses

Sportfish Outfitters, Grand Slam Tackle, and Blueline Surf & Paddle Co. are partnering to create a collection point for supplies. Starting at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 4 — they will be collecting items at Grand Slam Tackle and Sportfish Outfitters. They are asking for items that are easily transportable such as sunscreen, diapers, first aid items, flashlights, batteries, tarps, feminine products, and small generators.

Donations and supplies will be accepted at The Regional in West Palm Beach, Pistache French Bistro, PB Catch Seafood & Raw Bar, and all Rocco’s Tacos locations. The Eagles Winds Foundation has 40 aircrafts that will begin bringing the supplies to the Bahamas on Thursday. No clothing will be accepted. The most needed items are tents, cots, hygiene kits, non-perishable food items, water containers, generators, chainsaws, debris removal tools, and tarps.
