The Honda Classic: How kids can get a free over-sized golf ball for autographs

Some of the world’s best golfers are making their way to PGA National for The Honda Classic!

Golf fans, get ready! The Honda Classic returns to PGA National Resort & Spa this year February 25th through March 3rd, 2019. Catch a glimpse of some of the top golf pro’s in the world as they tee it up in Palm Beach County.

Brooks Koepka, who has won the past two United States Opens, the 2018 PGA Championship and is the reigning PGA TOUR Player of the Year, has committed to play in the 2019 Honda Classic. The West Palm Beach native is only the seventh man to win back-to-back U.S. Open titles and just the fifth to win the Open and the PGA in the same year.

Competitors won’t tee off until Thursday in the tournament’s first round, but there are plenty of events leading up to the big weekend.

Monday, February 25 – Monday Pro-Am (Champion Course)

Tuesday, February 26 – Practice Rounds (Champion Course)

Wednesday, February 27 – The Honda Classic Cares Pro-Am presented by Tire Kingdom (Champion Course)

Thursday, February 28 – The Honda Classic – First Round

Friday, March 1 -The Honda Classic – Second Round

Saturday, March 2 – The Honda Classic – Third Round

Sunday, March 3 – The Honda Classic – Final Round

The kids will have a ball at Tire Kingdom Family Day on Saturday, March 2nd from noon to 8:00 p.m. Be sure to stop by the kids zone at The Honda Pavilion for fun interactive games, contests and lots of prizes. The first 1,500 kids through the gates will receive a free over-sized golf ball to get autographs from their favorite golfers, courtesy of Tire Kingdom.
