Popeyes fans, keep it together. It’s finally coming back, y’all.
The popular Popeyes chicken sandwich is finally set to return on Nov. 3, the fast food chain announced via Twitter.
“Y’all…the sandwich is back Sunday, November 3rd. Then every day,” the tweet said.
And it seems Popeyes is not scared to reignite a new debate with Chick-fil-A. The tweet includes a promo video poking fun at the rival fast food chain. The video points out the sandwich will be back in stores on Sunday, when Chick-fil-A isn’t open for business.
Sunday also happens to be National Sandwich Day.

Sun Holdings Inc. CEO Guillermo Perales previously told Bloomberg News restaurants will beef up their staff to handle the expected rush of customers. Restaurants are hiring an additional 400 employees to prepare for the sandwich’s return, he said.
Popeyes launched the menu item on Aug. 12, and the viral sensation quickly sparked social media debates around fast food chicken sandwiches. Then, the fast-food chain announced it ran out of its new chicken sandwiches nationwide, according to a tweet from the company on Aug. 27.
This time, judging from the tweet, Popeyes promises it won’t run out. The tweet says Popeyes will offer the sandwich “every day” after its return.
