Disney’s Dole Whip Recipe: Make some magic in the kitchen

All you need is three ingredients!

Summer is nearly here! And what better way to cool off than with a sweet treat?

Disney recently released its famous Dole Whip recipe, and our friends from Hawaii Now are in the kitchen seeing if they can recreate the fan-favorite dessert.

Dole pineapple juice has been served at Disneyland since 1975, but did you know that the popular Dole Whip treat didn’t actually debut until 1986? It was introduced at Disneyland’s Adventureland, where you can still find it today!

Making your own Dole Whip at home is something fun you can do with the kids, and it only takes three ingredients! Ice cream, pineapple juice, and frozen pineapple! For an extra fun treat, do as the hosts do and hollow out a pineapple to use as a bowl for your Dole Whip.

Recipe: Disney’s Dole Whip

  • 1 generous scoop of ice cream
  • 4 oz pineapple juice
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple

1) Add ingredients into a blender

2) Blend the mixture until smooth

3) Pour mixture into a piping bag to make that iconic Dole Whip swirl

If you don’t have a piping bag at home, make your own out of parchment paper as an easy alternative!
