New restaurant alert! Or is it a new brewery alert? How about both?! American Craft Aleworks has officially opened its doors on Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach. The restaurant is located at 200 Clematis Street where Bar Louie used to be in the Citizen’s Building.
American Craft Aleworks features handcrafted beers, two full bars, a lounge and outdoor seating. The “speakeasy” themed interior features Chicago bricks, ironwork, and Prohibition-era artwork, including a wall-sized image of Clematis Street from the early 1920’s.
The menu includes sweet potato waffles with crispy duck, grilled center cut Pork Chop, whisky-glazed Atlantic Salmon, as well as a variety of craft burgers and sandwiches. Small plates include beet-pickled deviled eggs, chargrilled octopus with spiced chickpeas, truffle parmesan fries, southern boiled spice peanuts, Bavarian style Dutch pretzel, blistered shishito peppers, garlic roasted mussels with prosciutto, smoked chargrilled chicken wings, and a variety of salads with locally-sourced produce.
There’s something for everyone at American Craft Aleworks! From the handcrafted beers to an extensive wine list and craft Prohibition-inspired cocktails — it’s the perfect place to meet up with your friends.
The restaurant will serve lunch and dinner daily and weekend brunch. Stop by and enjoy a variety of entertainment! The restaurant will offer live music, local DJ’s, trivia, and vintage video games in the lounge.
