South Florida fall festivals are here! It’s time to get your calendar ready…

Festivals dedicated to gumbo, German beer, pumpkin picking, and pirates — that’s only a tiny fraction of what to expect! We found a ton of South Florida fall festivals/events and have put together a lineup that kicks off in October.

American German Club of the Palm Beaches

46th Annual Oktoberfest

When: October 11-13 & 18-20, 2019
Where: The American German Club of the Palm Beaches — 5111 Lantana Road, Lake Worth, FL 33463
What: Experience once of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations in the country in Lake Worth! Taste authentic German cooking like Bratwurst, Potato Salad, Leberkäse, Sauerkraut, German pastries, and of course German beer! Enjoy traditional folk dancing and sing-along’s with two bands from Germany. There are activities for the kiddos, as well!

District Fit Wellness & Fitness Festival

When: October 10-13, 2019
Where: Rosemary Square and Hilton West Palm Beach
What: Break a sweat at this large scale wellness festival in West Palm Beach! It’s a multi-day event featuring a lineup full of indoor and outdoor workout classes, wellness programs, nutrition talks, and so much more. Explore more than 50 pop-up retail shops and interactive classes in downtown West Palm Beach for this weekend-long affair!

City of Boynton Beach Fall Festival

Check out this FREE fun event on Saturday, October 19th from 3 to 6 p.m. at Instracoastal Park located at 2240 North Federal Highway in Boynton Beach.

There will be activities like pony rides, trackless train, petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting, various vendors and pumpkin patch treats.

The first 25 participants to attend will receive a free pumpkin. Participants are urged to wear their favorite seasonal costume so they can take pictures.

Lantern Festival at the Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens

When: Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Where: 4000 Morikami Park Road, Delray Beach
What: Inspired by Obon, Japan’s traditional three-day holiday honoring ancestors who return to Earth for a brief visit, Morikami will celebrate Lantern Festival in one epic-packed evening. Enjoy traditional folk-dancing, taiko drumming, an Ennichi street fair, Japanese cuisine, arts and crafts, and family friendly activities. Don’t miss the festival’s iconic lantern floating ceremony and electrifying fireworks finale.

Palm Beach Gardens Fall Festival

When:  Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm
Where: Gardens North County District Park, 5101 117th Court North, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418
What: Take advantage of this FREE event in Palm Beach Gardens! The fall festival will feature a “trunk or treat,” an interactive kid’s area complete with an inflatable corn maze and illuminated rock climbing wall, and an outdoor screening of Disney Pixar’s Coco!

57th Annual Halloween Parade, Downtown Trick-or-Treat, & Kidsfest

When: October 26th, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Where: Atlantic Ave., Old School Square, and Delray Beach Tennis Center

11:30 am to 1:00 pm
Trick-or-Treating on the Avenue: Have fun trick-or-treating with the merchants along the Avenue.

1:00 p.m.
57th Annual Halloween Parade: Meet in front of Big Al’s Steaks at NE 5th Ave. and Atlantic Ave. The parade will end at the Tennis Center, right into Kidsfest. Enjoy free ice cream sponsored by the Rotary Club of Delray Beach upon entering.

12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Kidsfest: Takes place at the Delray Beach Tennis Center…there will be food, vendors, arts and crafts, entertainment, and more.

6th Annual Trunk or Treat: Cars & Coffee PB

The 6th Annual Trunk or Treat Halloween-Themed Cars & Coffee Event is Sunday, October 27 from 8:00 a.m. to Noon at the Palm Beach Outlets.

There will be thousands of cars decorated for Halloween and with treats for youngsters. Please no masks for those over 16 years of age for security purposes.

Display vehicles are $5/vehicle at the entrances, spectators & spectator parking (just outside the show area) are FREE.

Boynton Beach Haunted Pirate Fest and Mermaid Splash

When: October 26-27, 2019
Where: 100 NE 4th Street, Boynton Beach, FL 33435
What: Shiver me timbers! This FREE event is put on by the Boynton Beach CRA. Dress up in your best pirate or mermaid attire and become immersed into the theme of the festival! There will be roaming actors, street performers, and live music. Participate in a mermaid pageant, treasure hunt, or a costume contest!

Light the Night 2019

What: Raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, then spend the evening “lighting the night” in honor and in memory of loved ones who have been affected by blood cancers.

Yoga Fun Day: Delray Beach
